The terms that apply when you request a quote, book, or travel with Totrip.
These terms apply whenever you request a quote, book, or travel on a Coaster, Hiace, Sienna or armoured vehicle rental with Totrip Coaster and Hiace Bus Rental ("Totrip", "we", "us") in Lagos or on any route we service. By submitting a quote request or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
Quotes provided through the website, WhatsApp, phone or email are estimates based on the trip details you share — route, duration, vehicle type and passenger count. A booking is only confirmed once we've verified vehicle availability and, where applicable, received a deposit. Final pricing may be adjusted if trip details change after the quote is given.
All Totrip rentals include a vetted, professional driver — we do not offer self-drive rentals. The assigned driver is responsible for the vehicle at all times during the rental period, including route decisions where safety is a factor.
Accepted payment methods, deposit requirements and balance timing are confirmed at the point of booking and can vary by trip type, route and rental duration. Outstation, cross-border and multi-day rentals may require a higher deposit given the longer driver and vehicle commitment involved.

Passengers are expected to treat the vehicle and driver with respect. Totrip reserves the right to charge for damage caused to a vehicle during a rental beyond normal wear and tear, and a driver may decline to continue a trip if passenger conduct puts safety at risk.
Totrip maintains insurance cover on its fleet in line with Nigerian transport regulations. Our liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the value of that booking, except where liability cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road closures or border processing on cross-border trips.
Armoured vehicle and VIP convoy bookings may be subject to additional terms, verification requirements and lead times given the specialised nature of the service — these are confirmed directly with you before booking.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or applicable law; the version on this page is the one that applies to new bookings from its last-updated date.
