At around 100 kilometres via the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway, this is one of the shorter charter routes we run, with a typical journey time of 1.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic leaving Lagos, particularly through Sango-Ota and Ifo.

A route suited to day trips

Because the distance is manageable, this route works well as a same-day round trip — a corporate outing, a family visit, or a group day trip to Abeokuta's tourist sites like Olumo Rock. A Hiace suits smaller family or friend groups, while a Coaster fits larger corporate or church groups.

Making the most of a short route

• Traffic through Sango-Ota: this stretch is the most congestion-prone part of the trip — an earlier departure avoids the worst of it.
• Same-day return: most Abeokuta trips return the same day — confirm your planned return time so the driver can plan the whole day's schedule.
• Sightseeing add-ons: if the trip includes stops at Olumo Rock or other sites, mention this when booking so the itinerary and timing account for it.

Good for spontaneous and planned trips alike

Given the short distance, this route is often booked with less lead time than longer inter-state trips — but weekend dates still benefit from booking a few days ahead during busy periods.

An earlier departure from Lagos avoids the worst of the Sango-Ota traffic that most affects this route.
